Cvijet od ostataka tkanine / Flower made with scraps

Neki dan smo pravili cvijet sa krugovima. Režući te krugove dobivali smo trokutaste komadiće koji su uglavnom išli u smeće. E pa, evo kako zaobići kantu za smeće i napraviti prave male ljepotice od tih ostataka... Mislim da slike ne trebaju objašnjenja.


We made fabric flowers few days ago. We had to cut circles. Cutting them we got triangle shaped scraps. Here is nice way to use them and make sweet little beautys...

Od marame napravi torbu / Use your scarfs and make a bag

Od tri marame sam napravila laganu ljetnu torbu. Bez šivanja! U pet minuta! A kada mi dosadi, opet imam marame. Nešto slično sam vidjela na www.marthastewart.com. 

I made summer bag using three scarfs. No sewing! It took only five minutes! I saw something similar on www.marthastewart.com.

Stavi dvije kvadratne marame, podjednake veličine, jednu na drugu.

Put one on another two squared scarfs. They should be of equal size.

Zaveži čvor na sva četiri kraja marame.

Tie a knot at the four corners of the scarf.

Poveži (još jednim čvorom) parove prijašnjih čvorova. Ovime se praktički dobivaju ručke torbe.

Tie two knots one to another. Those are handles on the bag.

Ovo je zapravo već gotova torba. Zbog dvije marame ima dva lica :) a i malo je čvršća. Međutim, meni je draže torbu staviti na rame, zato sam dodala i treću maramu. Moja je bila kvadratna, ali može biti bilo kojeg oblika.

This is finished bag. Becouse of two scarfes it has two sides, and it is a little bit more solid than it would be with just one scarf. However, I like to wear may bags on my shoulder, that's why I applied one scarf more. I used squared one, but you could use whatever you like.

Ta-da-da-ta!!!

Cvijet od tkanine / Fabric flower

Vjerojatno već svi znate kako napraviti ovakve cvjetiće. I sigurno ih znate napraviti još i ljepše. Ali, ako tko slučajno ne zna, pokazati ću vam kako sam ja napravila svoj. Ja sam ih naučila praviti na www.rufflesandstuff.com. Ona je to ooodlično objasnila ovdje. Ona ih lijepi silikonom, ali mnogi ih povezuju iglom i koncem. Pokušajte oboje pa što vam se više svidi.

I learned to make them on www.rufflesandstuff.com . She has greeeeat pictures with tutorial here. She uses hot gun, but you can use needle and thread. Try bouth...

Izreži krugove iz koje god želiš tkanine. Ja sam napravila 7 krugova, ali može i više. Krugovi mogu biti pravilni ili izrezani cik-cak škarama... poigrajte se.

Cut circles from any fabric you like. I made 7 circles, but it would probably be ok if there are more of them. There is no rule about shape, it doesn't need to be rigid round (ooo, my English!!!) Try different patterns. Play...

Preklopi krug dva puta. Neka bude oblik četvrtine kruga.

Overlap circle two times. Make it like a quarter of circle.

Namaži na vrhu vrućim silikonom i spoji sa ostalim jednako oblikovanim četvrtinama kruga. Ili, zašij sve skupa. I to je to.

Using hot gun, or stitching, connect all (equally shaped) quarters. That's it!

Kalendar / Calendar

 

Napravila sam kalendar kako bih odbrojavala dane do ispitnog roka. I stvarno, lijepo je izgledao iznad mog radnog stola. Ali, od njega sam bila tako tjeskobna (iako, potakao me na ranije učenje...). Odlučila sam ubuduće odbrojavati dane na ovaj način samo do lijepih događaja. Ovaj kalendar definitivno ide u smeće. S guštom!

I made a calendar with intent to countdown the days till exames. Really, it look nice above my desk. But, it made me so anxious (although, I did start to study much earlier...). In future, I will countdown the days just for pleasant events. This calendar is going to tresh!

Novi sjaj ne baš lijepe torbe / Refashion of a bag

 

Ok, ovo nije bila torba koju bih baš nosila uokolo. Zato, uz pomoć igle i konca i silikonskog pištolja, imam baš lijepu i nosivu torbu. Da, mogu je nositi sa jedne ili druge strane, kako mi je draže :)

This "Before" bag isn't realy wearable. But, with help of a needle, and later with help of hot gun, I have realy nice bag. Yes, I can wear it on bouth sides (with flower or stripe)
