Split

Split is most beautiful town on the whole world. We have hot summers, but we use them to go on the beach (Croatian sea is perfect!!!). We have clean water (yes, we don't need to drink water from bottles). We have mild winters (except when is "bura", really cold and dry wind). We have so delicious cuisine. We have great sport...

It is Saint Duje, today. What Saint Patrick is for Ireland, Saint Duje is for Split. On this video (up) you can see some really nice things about mine birth town.

I would like to introduce to you dalmatian music. In hot, summer, dalmatian nights, group of mens gather on the street and start to sing. Originaly, it is a cappella. But, recently, it became so popular so there are many inovations like instruments, women's voices, foreign language in words of songs...

This is very significant song to me. I shiver when I listen to it.

Pokušati ću svakog tjedna staviti po jednu sliku koju sam slikala ja ili jedan od moje braće. To će biti slika tjedna na tousled dayu. Ovo je bilo u Solinu na Malu Gospu na večer. Prekrasno... Da vam barem mogu prenijeti kako su treperile...

Solin

08. rujna je blagdan Male Gospe i dan grada Solina. 

Solin je prekrasan mali grad na rijeci Jadro. Smjestio se između Splita, Klisa i Kaštela. Izgrađen je na ostatcima antičke Salone. Danas je jedan od tri najmlađa (po prosjeku godina njegovih stanovnika) grada u Hrvatskoj. Bogat je kulturnom baštinom, tradicijom ali i perspektivnim mladim ljudima. I Solin je moj grad (jedan od dva moja grada).

September 8 is a holiday in the Solin. (Ne znam kako Englezi kažu Mala Gospa)
Solin is a beautiful small town on the river Jadro. It is placed between Split, Klis and Kastela. It is built on the remains of ancient Salona. Today is one of the three youngest towns in Croatia (by average age of its inhabitants). It is rich in cultural heritage, traditions and promising young people. Solin is my hometown (actually, it is one of two my hometowns)
